Cut paper has always been my favorite media for 2D art so this contest gave me an excuse to make something neat and pony related and take a little break from sewing. It was pretty challenging to work with the limited color pallet of the construction paper I had. I even "borrowed" some from my after-school care job because my construction paper package didn't have any pink or purple in it and only had light green and light blue. Even with those few extra colors though my choices were limited. I think it turned out quite well considering that!
Alas, not even honorable mention. There were some really nice entries. Everyone should go look at them.

THis is much better than any of the other winners
The stars were a HUGE pain, and also the tiny tiny apples on the trees. I probably lost more of those on the floor than I ended up gluing onto the finished piece!
I can't wait to see the rest of the entries. I do hope they post them all up on EqD and not just the winners.
