This is my first time making a filly plushie. I started off with the best CMC, Sweetie Belle!

These plushie of Sweetie Belle and Rarity from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic are made from Minky with appliqued satin eyes. Sweetie stands about 10 inches tall to the top of her head, though her poofy hair makes her a bit taller. Rarity is about 13 inches to the top of her head. I know that Sweetie Belle is taller in comparison to Rarity than she is in the show. I decided to make my filly pattern a little bigger to keep them a more huggable size. Fillies in the show are super tiny!

Both ponies already have homes.

Sweetie Belle's mane reminds me of those little Trix Yogurt cups I used to get when I was little. Also, This is probably the best Sweetie Belle I've seen. Still gotta see the front, though ;P

I love your ponies! Sweetie Belle is absolutely adorable!

If I may ask, how do you get such pointed and defined noses? I have tried making a few using ValleyViolet's wonderful pattern, but they all come out with pug noses almost :( I can't seem to get those nice fold lines on the top of their snouts!

Clipping your seams at corners and around curves is key. I haven't actually used ValleyViolet's pattern so I can't really give any specific advice for that one.

Do you clip before you stitch? I pin the living heck out of all of mine, and yet I still have very limited success! Thanks for your advice :)

no you clip after it's stitched.

Those two are adorable. :) And how nice to see a Sweetiebelle plushie, too; they're not that common, are they?

Great work. :)

Thank you :) And yeah there aren't that many Sweetie Bell plushies out there, though there are a few really great ones! It's probably because he hair is so annoying to do.
